The decline of this barn near Fremont, Michigan is a sign of the times. It has a perfectly good foundation but little support. You have to wonder just what has happened there through the ages.

It's a shame the small farmer is almost a thing of the past. I grew up on a small farm, one cow, several steer for beef, vegetable gardens, fruit trees and strawberry fields. I may not have appreciated it when I was younger, but I wish I had that now. But it's a lot of hard work, most prop,e don't want to do it.
